This portable desktop plasma orb provides hands-on experience with light, electricity, and energy. A small Tesla coil generates a large electrical potential difference, which tries to even itself out by discharging in the same way that a cloud discharges lightning. Touch the glass ball to generate and control concentrated plasma streams with just your fingers. Features an on/off switch and requires 4 AAA batteries (not included) or an AC adaptor (also not included). The plasma orb (also called plasma ball, plasma lamp, plasma globe, plasma dome, or plasma sphere) is great for use at home, work, or in the classroom.
